In replacement of the aging supercinq model, Renault introduces a completely new car in 1990, the Renault Clio. A year later, the Clio16S is launched. This is a sporty version of the normal Clio, but unlike the other Renault sports cars that preceded it, it features a 16-valve, non-turbocharged engine. This engine is derived from the Renault 19 16S.

Our model represents the phase I and is painted in tyrol green. The front bonnet, the tailgate and 2 side doors open to reveal a reproduction of the typical Clio 16S upholstery.
