Porsche 917K 1971 24H Le Mans Marko/Van Lennep Winner 1:18

After the proverbial knot had burst the previous year, Porsche was again able to clinch overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971, this time with the 917K of Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep. After a driving time of 24 hours, the vehicle had set a new distance record of 5355.313 kilometres, which stood until 2010.
