In the 1970s, Peugeot aimed to develop an affordable city car to rival the Renault 5, resulting in the Peugeot 104. Several sporty versions followed, with the ZS2 being the most powerful.

This exclusive version featured Vulcan Grey paint, 6-inch Amil alloy wheels with spacers, a unique front spoiler, and red side stripes. ZS2 logos appear on the tailgate and front spoiler.
