Nissan's GT-R, which has been in production since 2007, gets a new version in 2011, boosted with the help of Nismo. Nismo reworked various aspects of the GT-R, including a new rear spoiler that increases downforce by 100kg at 300km/h.

In 2013, the Japanese manufacturer announced a new version called the GT-R Nismo, which accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds, bringing it close to the performance of a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, despite being equipped with a 7,993cc W16 engine and four turbochargers.

The car has been phased out of certain markets since autumn 2021. In France, it disappeared from the market in March 2022, because this type of high-powered vehicle no longer complied with the new regulations.
