Carmakers have always called on celebrities to promote their new cars.

In 1956, Citroën had the idea of calling on actress Gina Lollobrigida to take part in an exclusive feature in the weekly Paris-Match.  On the cover of the magazine, the actress is at the wheel of the DS, while in one photo she is in the background behind a line of luggage to show the exceptional capacity of the luggage compartment.
