VW Golf Cabriolet 1981 Monaco Blue 1:43

It was a difficult legacy for the VW Golf Cabriolet when it appeared at the end of the 1970s. Initially derided as a ‘strawberry basket’ due to its distinctive roll bar, the open Golf quickly outsells the nostalgic Beetle Cabriolet.

The colour we chose, Monaco Blue, is a contemporary pastel shade, which was typical after the bright colours of the 1970s. The model comes with a closed soft top so that you can react at any time to whether there is sunshine or rain in your display case.
