The first VéloSolex two-wheelers were produced and sold from 1946.

In 1966, the Solex 3800 arrived, the most successful model of moped, which became emblematic with more than 7 million units sold worldwide. In France, its production stopped in 1988 but it will continue in Hungary.  

The 3800 model brings important evolutions such as the presence of a clutch and an accelerator handle.

Its new engine, which drives the front wheel by roller, allows it to reach 30km/h.

Shortly after the Luxe versions presented in 1969, here is the Solex 3800 Super Luxe, considered as a top of the range model of Solex mopeds, with additional features and a more elegant design than the Luxe model.
