When the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL was unveiled in New York in 1954, it caused a veritable storm of enthusiasm. Visitors and journalists alike were impressed by the breathtaking combination of high-quality technology and aggressive appearance. The striking gullwing doors, which were the result of the tubular frame chassis, made the ‘SL’ the dream car of an entire generation overnight.

Even though the vast majority of 300 SLs are kept in their original condition by their owners or have been restored to such condition - there are exceptions.

A very special version was painted in the eye-catching colour of the luxury jewellery manufacturer Tiffany and makes our Norev model just as much a gem as the original.
