Franz Eberhofer is the main protagonist of Rita Falk's series of crime novels, which are popular in German-speaking countries. In the nine-part film series based on the books, Police Chief Eberhofer drives an Audi 80 B2, which his station chief mocks as a "Police Inspectorate 1 Memorial Car" because of its age. Our homage to Franz Eberhofer's official car in 1/43 scale is based as closely as possible on the famous original.
