Many soldiers were injured during the landings on 6 June 1944.

Some of them were treated directly at the front by rescue teams who were able to intervene quickly, using jeep vehicles in particular.

This green miniature features the decorations specific to this type of vehicle, including the famous red cross on a white background, on the radiator grille, on the flag fixed to the bumper, on the part covering the windscreen (this part cannot be removed).
